Site Analysis: Posted to Rethinking the FutureClick here for full review

    • Summary: A must-read for beginners who are new to architecture, like students. Budding architects who have just entered the field of architectural practice will also benefit from this book as it covers a lot of onsite experiences and legal data analysis. …The conventional diagrammatic representation using pen and ink might seem out of date in today’s technologically advancing architectural industry with software tools and model building tools that do the site analysis by digital means. But at the end of the day, the architect alone comes up with design solutions and must not rely upon software tools to do the job. The representation techniques of data and analysis of problems and solutions [apply whether] they are hand done or created digitally. This book helps build a foundation that is essential for the process of design.

Site Analysis and Space Adjacency Analysis: Published in the Society of Building Science Educators newsletter in 2014 when ArchiBasics Press first started publishing Edward T. White’s work.

Abdoreza Ershadinia
    • Travel Drawing. Overall 4.25/5 with 12 ratings
      • 8/11/23: 4/5. This book was a great read. The tips and strategies for travel drawing are very helpful, and the drawings in the book are beautiful by themselves and a great visual resource. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the way the text is formatted around the images appears a bit sloppy and can be distracting from the visuals and difficult to read at times. Otherwise, I would recommend to anyone looking to get into travel drawing. Clay
